Should You Practice Daily?

Yes, you should practice daily. Practice is a necessary thing for becoming a better footballer. No one is perfect in a game (considering Leo messi is alien)there’s always room for improvement and that improvement could be achieved by practice. There’s a famous quote

“Ever tried. Ever failed. No Matter. Try Again. Fail again. Fail better.” – Samuel Beckett. 

This quote tells us the power of practicing daily. What we practice daily gradually turns into a habit. So, if you have the right habits, you will do better not only in games but in every aspect of your life.

Is playing football every day bad?

Practicing is good for your game but over-practicing can be harmful to you. Here’s the reason why over-practicing is not good for your health and game.

They will be weaker than their opponents

Over-practicing can lead to weakness. If a player will over-practice and give little time to rest they will be weaker than their opponents.

Higher chances of injury

Playing too often with no time to rest can lead to injury, especially when you’re a newbie and your body is in the developing phase. You will be mentally and physically burnt out. If you will practice every day it will become boring for you even professionals who don’t practice every day. You should take a rest of at least one day before your matchday.

How many hours of soccer practice a day?

Professional football teams usually practice for 4-6 hours a day for 6 days a week. If you want to be a pro player you have to give 4-6 hours a day divided into 2 sessions.

For good football players not only a physical practice but at the same time, mental practice is also very important. Pro teams focus on mental strength. A player on the game should train to have focused only on the game and not on the other thoughts. Proper mental training helps you to keep a positive mental attitude during the game. Helps you to visualize yourself performing the moves flawlessly. This leads you to learn new skills faster.

What should you practice daily?

We have come through that we should practice daily, how many hours we should practice daily. But what should you practice daily?

You should practice the fundamentals of football. The fundamentals of football relate to the following:

  3. The Formation
  4. The Positions

The Player

A football player should have basic football knowledge.

  • Ball Control
  • Ball Possession

  • game sense

The Team

The Team that will play football and win will have the following basic requirements

  • Strategies
  • Tactics
  • Desire to win

The formation

The fundamental requirements of any formation are

  • Departments: Ranging from Defense to Mid-field, to Attack
  • Balance between all
  • Understanding and adjusting to it

The position

Each Position in The Department, in The Formation, and The Team defines qualities that are fundamental to The Player.

  • Learning to Attack

Messi, for example, follows a strict diet that includes plenty of water, fish, whole-grain foods, fresh fruit, and vegetables.

Ronaldo says. “I eat a high protein diet, with lots of wholegrain carbs, fruit, and vegetables, and avoid sugary foods.”

  1. Keep working hard

You Keep working hard, yes it’s sounds cliché but one should never stop working hard. One should keep working hard even if you reached the level you want to be.
